Aims And Objectives
1. Comprehensive Well-Child Care: - To review current best practices in well-child visits, including vaccination schedules, growth monitoring, and developmental screenings. 2. Management of Paediatric Chronic Conditions: - To discuss strategies for managing chronic paediatric conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy, focusing on long-term care plans and patient education. 3. Childhood Obesity and Nutrition: - To explore interventions for preventing and managing childhood obesity, with an emphasis on promoting healthy eating habits and physical activity. 4. Paediatric Mental Health: - To address the increasing prevalence of mental health issues in children and adolescents, including anxiety, depression, and behavioural disorders, and to review approaches for early identification and treatment. 5. Infectious Diseases in Paediatrics: - To update knowledge on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of common pediatric infectious diseases, including the latest on vaccination and antibiotic stewardship. 6. Paediatric Emergency Medicine: - To improve competencies in paediatric emergency care, focusing on the management of acute conditions like seizures, anaphylaxis, and trauma in a paediatric setting. 7. Health Disparities and Access to Care: - To discuss strategies for addressing health disparities in pediatrics, focusing on improving access to care for underserved populations. 8.
