Aims And Objectives

Aim is to introduce the pediatric residents to the basics and the approach to pediatric trauma, including numerous subjects such as RTAs, thermal injuries and a diverse range of related subjects to pediatric emergencies Objective is to provide the residents with the knowledge and training to manage common pediatric emergencies in the casualty and the ward.

Content Outline

4 lectures on pediatric trauma 6 workshops on pediatric trauma management 4 lectures on general pediatric emergencies 6 PBL sessions on common pediatric emergencies

Target Audience

attendance 70-80 mainly pediatric residents in the kuwaiti pediatric residency program limited number of seats will be available for non-residents
