Aims And Objectives

This course aims to cover fundamental aspects in the disciplines of Oral Medicine & Oral Pathology via lectures and case-based scenarios with emphasis on exam questions and preparation for national and international board examinations. At the end of this eductaional activity, participants will demonstrate understanding in the following: 1. To be able to formulate differential diagnoses for oral lesions 2. To differentiate beween benign and suspicious lesions 3. To identify oral disease in the paediatric patient 4. To be familiar with the most recent orofacial pain classification 5. To practice exam questions and OSCE stations

Content Outline

This course is an exclusive course for the disciplines of Oral Medicine & Pathology disciplines. It will aim to cover fundamental aspects via lectures and case-based scenarios with emphasis on exam questions and preparation for national and international board examinations. It will also aim to demonstrate a wide scope of cases seen in routine dental practice and summarise safe management approaches. Undergraduate students, postgraduate students, residents and general dentists will all gain extensive training in this full-day course.
