Content Outline

This course is primarily a series of clinical and practical-based sessions. Paediatric dentists will be able to utilise the didactic learning from the previous Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology courses and learn to manage challenges in radiology with child patients. It is essential for residents to be able to prescribe radiographs appropriately based on a patient’s physical and mental capabilities, while following the radiographic guidance. The idea of this course is to make sure they can take their own radiographs especially when children are uncooperative. They know the different types of radiographs and when to take each and when they have errors what are the reasons behind them and how to make this better. The course should be arranged by us not radiologists. We will use our radiology department in Farwaniya but we will supervise.
