Aims And Objectives

At the end of the course, the residents are expected to be able to: - Describe the dentino-pulpal complex roles and tissue origin. - Distinguish between normal vs abnormal dentino-pulpal tissues. - Perform various pulpal investigatory methods and analyse the responses in relation to clinical diagnosis. - Analyse symptoms and correlate them to the patho-physiologic status of the pulp. - Evaluate the signs, symptoms and tests and suggest the proper intervention. - Understands pain mechanism, theories and provides the controlling measures.


Content Outline

A comprehensive seminar and presentation series designed to study the patho-physiology of the dental pulp and periapical tissues. The course will focus on implementing the best available scientific evidence and correlate them to the endodontic clinical practice.
