Aims And Objectives
Basic Life Support in Obstetrics (BLSO) is designed to improve the management of normal deliveries, as well as obstetric emergencies by standardizing the skills of first responder, emergency personnel and maternity care providers.
Content Outline
After participating in this activity, participants will be able to: • Manage both normal labor and perinatal emergencies • Reduce errors and save lives during OB emergencies • Elevate the quality of patient care, teamwork and patient safety
