Aims And Objectives

BLS is a video-based, instructor-led course that is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner

1. General concepts of high quality CPR 2. BLS for adults 3. AED for adults and children 8 yrs of age 4. Team dynamics 5. BLS for infants and children 6. AED for infants and children less than 8 yrs old 7. Ventilation techniques 8. Opioid associated life threatening emergencies 9. Choking relief for adults, children and infants

Target Audience

This course is for all healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, technicians and other paramedical staff.
