Aims And Objectives

o To familiarize the residents with common geriatric problems o To explain the holistic approach in geriatric patients

Content Outline

• Be able to execute a broad, consistent geriatric assessments and extend the management plan toward long-term with considering continuity of care. • Achievement of effective communication skills with the geriatric patients and amplify it to the family and caregiver as well, to certain mutual management plan. • Ability to conduct home visit for geriatric assessment (dealing with reason of visit and assessing the environment and home situation). • Awareness of the local community resources that is available for geriatric care as multidisciplinary approach aiming optimizing care.
