Aims And Objectives

1. Train residents on the skill of interpretation of HE sections of selected pathologic lesions. 2. Educate residents on the skill of request for ancillary tests based on the interpretation of HE sections. 3. Train residents on identifying Critical Value HE Diagnosis and how to manage it. 4. Train residents on the correct interpretation of ancillary histopathological stains. 5. Train residents on the proper interpretation and triaging of common cytology samples.

The following are the suggested CME program: • CME Title: ONLINE INTERACTIVE MICROSCOPY FOR PATHOLOGY RESIDENTS. • Provider: Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University. • Coordinator: Dr. Issam Francis, MD, FRCPath. • Contributors: Senior local and international pathologists • Duration: Each session lasts for 1-2 hours. • Sessions/Year: 24 Sessions (2 sessions per month). • Date: 1 April to 31 March Annually. • Duration: Continuous/Annual. • CME points: 24 Category 1 CME points/year. • Duration: 12 months, continuous on an annual basis. • Evaluation: Online Survey. • Certificates: Provided on behalf of CEPD: pdf Certificate emailed to residents. • No of participants: Over 100-200 Residents. • Registration: Free, Online. • Course Fee: Free of charge. • Target Audience: Pathology residents of the Middle East Region.
