Aims And Objectives

By the end of the presentation, the participant will have a better understanding of Periodontal flap management.  To maximize the participants exposure to different Surgical techniques that can be applied in the daily practice to help provide long term favorable surgical outcomes  Demonstrate and discuss various techniques for flap management and suturing  Know how to perform full thickness and partial thickness mucoperiosteal flaps and the indication & contraindication for each flap.  Know and Understand Suture materials  Discuss the advantages and uses of different Flap designs and sutures.  Discuss practical case planning and treatment for different cases.

Content Outline

By the End of the course participants will have basic understanding of Surgical Periodontal Mucoperiosteal Flap management from Diagnosis, treatment planning to performing different flap procedures in a hands-on workshop on surgical specimens . The participant will also understand Suture size , material selection and the indication for each Suturing technique in periodontal flap management.
