To understand the importance of obtaining a thorough medical history To be able to recognize the occurrence of the most common medical emergencies To be able to act promptly upon medical emergency when they occur To understand the local policies of managing medical emergency in the dental setting To be competent in providing BLS when required To understand one limitation when dealing with medical emergency case
