Aims And Objectives

Facilitate the introduction of Quality Improvement work for trainees in Family Medicine - QI and QI tools.

Content Outline

• Understand what is meant by quality improvement • Become familiar with some quality improvement tools • Consider how quality improvement projects could fit into Family Medicine training • Understand the opportunities that quality improvement projects could bring to Family Medicine residents, and some of the pitfalls • Apply knowledge of quality improvement tools to practical situations
