Become familiar with the workflow and the surgical kits to perform guided implantology. Freehand implant placement is challenging and demands a high level of skill, especially in cases involving multiple implants, where suboptimal results are common. Incorrect positioning can lead to complications such as screw loosening, fractures, or peri-implantitis. In recent years, advancements in digital dentistry have significantly improved the precision and accessibility of digital X-rays, scanners, and 3D printers. Guided implantology leverages these advancements to enhance accuracy, leading to better patient outcomes and increased office efficiency. This course will teach how to implement guided implantology techniques effectively.
