Aims And Objectives

Demonstrate understanding of the basic facts of the causes, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations and management of genetic diseases. • Be competent of taking proper histories and performing appropriate clinical examinations and developing an appropriate working diagnosis for Genetic disease patients. •Recognize the physical, psychological, economic and social effects of chronic illnesses on a patient’s life. •Develop appropriate management plans for patients with Hematological based on knowledge of best available evidence & local resources. Be able to break bad news clearly and empathetically to genetic disease patients Recognize the significance of continuous psycho social support for patients with such diseases Educate patients about the complications of genetic diseases. Consider the referral criteria of patient having Genetic dieases
