Aims And Objectives

Aim: To equip participants with practical skills and advanced techniques in oncoplastic surgery for breast cancer by providing hands-on experience with breast models, enabling improved surgical outcomes for patients. Objectives: Discuss the indications, benefits, and goals of oncoplastic techniques in breast cancer treatment, hands-on experience using breast models to practice various oncoplastic techniques, such as partial mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, volume displacement, and volume replacement methods, perform surgical procedures on breast models, including tissue handling, tumor excision, and reconstruction techniqueso, train participants in identifying and managing potential complications related to oncoplastic surgery, such as skin necrosis, flap failure, and asymmetry, engage in problem-solving exercises to enhance decision-making skills and adapt techniques to varying patient anatomies and tumor presentations etc.

Content Outline

Hands-on experience using breast models. precision in technique to balance oncologic safety. Identifying and managing potential complications related to oncoplastic surgery. Post-operative care. Recent advancements and emerging trends in oncoplastic surgery.
