Aims And Objectives

Aims: 1. To enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in the latest techniques and best practices in vascular surgery and endovascular procedures. 2. To provide hands-on experience with advanced vascular technologies and simulation modules. 3. To promote a multidisciplinary approach to vascular care, focusing on both surgical and non-surgical management strategies. 4. To foster proficiency in planning and executing endovascular and open surgical interventions through interactive sessions and expert guidance. 5. To advance the understanding and application of diagnostic vascular imaging techniques. Objectives: Knowledge-Based Objectives: 1. Describe the principles and techniques involved in Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR) and Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) planning and execution. 2. Understand the role and importance of proctoring in aortic endovascular repair, with a focus on tips and tricks for optimizing outcomes. 3. Explain the step-by-step management of diabetic foot, including the role of healing by Total Contact Casting (TCC). 4. Review the fundamentals of vascular ultrasound and its applications in clinical practice. Skill-Based Objectives: 1. Demonstrate proficiency in planning and sizing for EVAR and TEVAR procedures using advanced simulation modules. 2. Perform hands-on simulations of vascular anastomosis and carotid endarterectomy with patchplasty. 3. Conduct duplex-guided vascular access for varicose vein ablation confidently and effectively. 4. Apply techniques for vascular ultrasound to identify and diagnose vascular pathologies. Professional Development Objectives: 1. Enhance decision-making skills for selecting appropriate treatment modalities in complex vascular cases. 2. Develop a comprehensive approach to vascular access and interventions in various patient populations. 3. Build confidence in integrating advanced technologies into daily vascular surgery practice. 4. Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among peers to improve overall patient outcomes.
