Content Outline

Sinus augmentation: Sinus pneumatization poses a significant challenge for dentists, especially in implant dentistry. As a result, clinicians must often consider advanced procedures like sinus lifting or bone grafting to restore the vertical dimension of bone. Understanding the anatomy, extent of pneumatization, and the available treatment options is essential for predictable outcomes in implant rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla. Multi-disciplinary management of aggressive periodontitis: Aggressive periodontitis is a rapidly progressing form of periodontal disease that typically affects young individuals and leads to early loss of teeth if not diagnosed and managed promptly Due to its complex nature, successful management goes beyond conventional periodontal therapy and requires a multidisciplinary approach—involving periodontists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, and sometimes even medical professionals. In this seminar, we will explore how integrating different specialties leads to more predictable and comprehensive care for patients with aggressive periodontitis.
